The No: 1 Bus departs regularly from Temple Meads Station from bus stop "TJ" on Temple Gate to Park Street

By Road

We are situated on Great George Street, in the centre of Bristol, on the main road to the university. As you go up the hill, go past the Royal Marriott Hotel on the left. Half way up the steep hill, take the small road to the left "Great George Street" (Nandos Restaurant on the left), we are at the top of this hill, opposite Brandon's Park. St Brandon's House is on the left-hand side.

Parking

Metered Parking spaces are available on Great George Street

M32

Follow the M32 towards Bristol until the traffic lights. Keep on the M32 but keep in the right hand lane. Second set of traffic bear right and follow the road signs towards the City Centre.

This road approaches a large roundabout. Keep in the middle lane and take the second exit - Park Row (the entrance to Bristol Bus Depot should be on your left). Follow this road and keep in the left hand lane (past the Bristol Children's Hospital -large coloured rings can be seen by the entrance on the right.

Keep in the left hand lane and keep going up the hill past 2 sets of traffic lights. Follow the road for another 200 yards and pass a petrol station on your left.

30-50 yards after the petrol station is a left turning - Park Street Avenue. The road is steep and short. Go down this road and turn right at the bottom onto Park Street. Go down this busy street 50 yards and Great George Street is on the right. St Brandon's House is number 29 and is located at the top of the hill on the left had side opposite St Brandon's Park.

M5 (Junction 17)

Leave the motorway at Junction 17 and turn onto Cribbs Causeway (A4018) following signs for Clifton and Bristol City Centre. You will eventually reach (after going through many sets of traffic lights) Westbury Road, which, runs alongside the Clifton Downs. There is a concrete water tower on your right.

When you reach the junction at the end of Westbury Road - go straight over and down Blackboy Hill, which leads into Whiteladies Road. Carry on down Whiteladies Road to the end (approx. 1-mile). Continue past Habitat, on your left, into Queens Road.

Drive along Queens Road with the City Museum and Browns Restaurant on your left and go right at the fork down into Park Street. The 2nd turning on the right down Park Street is Great George Street. (Sign posted Brandon Hill) Follow the road straight up until you see the park on your right. St Brandon's House is number 29 and is located at the top of the hill on the left had side opposite St Brandon's Park.

M4 - (Junction 19)

Leave the motorway at Junction 19 and join the M32 to Bristol. Follow the M32 until the end. At the end move over ready to turn right but stay on the left-hand side and follow signs for the city centre. At the St. James' Barton roundabout by Debenhams turn left, following signs for the city centre. Continue straight ahead for the city centre. Follow signs for Clifton / Park Street. Stay in the right hand lane and follow the one way system - sign posted Park Street & Clifton A4018.

You will pass The Marriott Royal Hotel on your left. Take the 2nd left after the pedestrian lights on to Great George Street. (Sign posted Brandon Hill) Follow the road straight up until you see the park on your right.

St Brandon's House is number 29 and is located at the top of the hill on the left had side opposite St Brandon's Park.
